Pillows Grand Hotel Reylof - Ghent

We chose the Grand Hotel Reylof for our stay in Ghent not really knowing what to expect. When we pulled up at the front door, we were greeted by the ever smiling Ashraf who led us into a reception room and gave us drinks while check in was being sorted out. What an incredibly friendly touch! Anthony led us to our room and gave us the full run down. Lovely guy! The room was excellent, and the hotel in general has been renovated recently and is top shelf in every respect. The bar is brilliant, the cool dude mixing drinks was a fun guy. The feeling of friendliness ran through the whole hotel. On one day, we were walking down the street heading back to the hotel, we ran into Ashraf who was off duty and was heading to some appointment, he immediately recognised my wife and I and stopped to chat with us and to give us further tips of places to visit and things to do! Even off duty, the guy loves his hotel and wants to be the best he can be. How can you not be impressed with that level of enthusiasm? The hotel will find it's place in your heart too, as it did ours. We cannot wait to return to beautiful Ghent, and we cannot wait to again stay at the Grand Hotel Reylof!
