WHERE FREDDIE MERCURY STAYED!

The Fairmont Le Montreux Palace is a Belle Epoque masterpiece that was the favoured Montreux hotel for the great Freddie Mercury. If it is good enough for the notoriously fastidious Queen front man who was a perfectionist, it is certainly good enough for me! Epic in it's grandeur, the grand hall ways evoke a time long past of ultra luxury travel amongst the aristocrats and royalty. Our room was incredible with glorious view of Lake Geneva. The staff were ever so friendly and attentive and everything ran like clockwork. From the staff out the front who would park our car, to the front desk staff. Everybody was eager to help with a smile. The bar is certainly a must experience and the location of the hotel on "Funky" Claude Nobs Avenue is an allusion to the legendary Deep Purple heavy metal anthem Smoke on the Water. You will love your stay in this glorious hotel. We did...and we will be back!
