Grand Hotel Europa - Innsbruck

SURROUNDED BY MOUNTAIN VIEWS!

The Grand Hotel Europa is not our usual Belle Epoque style hotel that my husband and I are fond of. While the hotel itself was established in the era in question, it has been modernized so many times, that much of it's originality has been absorbed and the hotel now resembles many other business hotels that proliferate the continent. This leads me to my next point about the hotel being more of a four star hotel, rather than a five star. Our room was nice without being unbelievable, but having said that, the desk staff were marvellous and the location is excellent being across the road to the main train station and a short walk away from the main sites of the city. Breakfast was very good and overall, we were satisfied with our stay, however, the establishment is more of a business hotel décor and relative standards. A pleasant stay in a marvellous city in the glorious Tyrolean mountains.
